First off dj’ing is mainly about the connection one has with themselves, the music, the audience, and how well they can cue, beat match, and scratch up the tracks. That's why M-Audio designed the Torq Xponent, it comes with a full array of tactile controls which allow you to get in control of the music and so that you can pump it up for your crowd with each beat.

The 64 features that come pre equipped on the system are backlit buttons (including Play, Cue, Seek, Loop, Key and Sync controls), two volume sliders, eight assignable knobs for effect control and two 100mm pitch sliders. The built-in touchpad/assignable X/Y controller allows you to control the affects. There is also a built in touchpad/assignable X/Y control so that you never have to take your hands off during the middle of performance , unless its to listen to the nearest person to you that wants you to turn it up.

ok so i need major help!

I own a DJX700 and primarly use that. today i was using a tascam xs8 with torq and it was not working. I adjusted the ground wire and i could hear a difference but it still wasnt clear, it was partially static but too much to use. Does anyone know how i could fix it???

It seems like the grounded parts on the mixer are too sensitive. please help, its almost the time i call m-audio and complan

for the future too, if its staticy, what would u do to make it so its clear

Behringer mixers are the most unreliable mixers on the market, even more unreliable than Gemini & Gemsound, so it's possible there's something wrong with the mixer. Have you tried an alternative grounding location?

I had a Gemini mixer once that my turntables buzzed when I used the grounding post, but when I hooked the ground wires around a rack screw between the rack rail & the mixer instead of the grounding post, the buzzing went away.

There is a known issue with Torq/Conectiv of static & whinnying noise on the 3/4 channel. its some static and the noise in which you can hear a buzzing/beeping sound through a speaker.
If u are having that problem, M-Audio will be happy to replace it with a new one.
