Can anyone tell me the diffrence between and orientation manual and a employee manual?

I need to write an orientation manual for class but my professor said it is difrent from an employee manual but I thought they had the same info. Also, where can I get help on this. Thanks community.

The training manual is specific for the actual work you'll be doing...........such as the training manual for a cashier.
