What do I need to Fix my microphone problem?
I have had my SENNHEISER PC151 3.5mm Circumaural Headset for some time now and I just bought a Creative Sound Blaster Audigy SE card for my computer. The sound is spectacular from the card, but the microphone is hissing and not working correctly. I do not have my microphone muted, and I have the line for my mic plugged into the right slot. Are these products compatible with eachother or do I need a Sound Blaster Preamplifier?
Yes, I also have Sennheiser pc151, and sound blaster audigy. It works for me, dont know what your problem is though, should have explained it better. Try to move the cord(??) a little maybe it doesnt have contact.
