You can use bitter apple or bitter orange spray. Also, there are cord covers you can buy that are plastic sheaths with a slit in them so that you can push the cords inside the sheath. I'd suggest using the covers and the spray. That way, even if the spray were to wear off or if it didn't work on your cat, there would be the extra layer of protection over the cords. I have even some of these cord covers that are supposedly infused with a citrus scent that is supposed to repel cats but I don't know how well they work.

Also be sure that kitty has other things he can chew on. I bought mine some dental chew toys that they love to chew. I have never seen cats use chew toys before but mine love them!
